Area of expertise
Chronic Tension / Muscle Pain
For pain and tightness that has become part of daily life.
Your care plan
Care starts by understanding the connections.
Tension that never lets go changes how you move, how you sleep, and how much you feel able to take on. Most people simply adapt around it and stop mentioning it, because it has come to feel normal.
I would gently encourage you to mention it. Tension that persists usually has a reason behind it, often more than one.
What we consider
- Posture, and old injuries
- Stress held in the jaw, neck, shoulders or lower back
- Inflammation, magnesium and vitamin D
- Sleep, when tissue does its repairing
- Breathing patterns
Craniosacral therapy
Much of my work here is craniosacral therapy — a gentle, hands-on approach that works with your body's own capacity to release rather than forcing anything. Sessions are quiet and unhurried, and many people find the deep rest is part of the benefit.
Alongside it
Movement that suits your body, small changes at work or home, and nutritional support where it helps.
There is usually more ease available than you expect. Book a session and we will begin gently.
